Bethel Apostolic Church of Vaughan was born from a vision God placed in the hearts of a small group of believers who were hungry to seek Him. The late Pastor Everald Martin and Mother Helen Martin first carried this vision while living in St. Ann, Jamaica. After moving to Toronto, they faithfully served at Mount Zion Apostolic Church until the Lord led them to begin a new work.
On October 4, 2000, the first gathering of what would become Bethel Apostolic Church was held in a home in Thornhill. It began with only a few people coming together in prayer, Bible study, and faith, believing that God had a divine purpose. Even when only two people gathered, they remained faithful—and God moved in powerful ways. Miracles took place, lives were transformed, and the church began to grow.
Our worship is heartfelt and Spirit-led. We don’t just sing songs—we invite God’s presence to move and minister. Every service is an opportunity to encounter Jesus in a real and personal way.
